Review:  If you haven’t heard of Tiny Empires, then shame on you.  Over half the grid play this HUD game, I have 5 alts and they’re all playing it. (Yes, I’m addicted). This game is a fun way to increase your social circle, join kingdoms and get invited to parties.  The simplest way to describe it is in the creators own words:

“A new HUD-based game designed exclusively for Second Life residents who don't like to be tied down to one place.
You play Tiny Empires on your HUD with many other players at once. There is no server to set up, and you don't need anything to play except for this HUD.
Tiny Empires is set in medieval England, during the time of feudalism. The goal of the game is to grow your empire by purchasing land, by gaining followers (i.e. other players), and by earning gold. Along the way, you will become caught up in political intrigue, philosophical dilemmas, and a few surprises as well. Keep playing, and you just may become the most influential duchess or duke of the land. “
--Ultralite Soleil, Game Creator

There is a demo HUD that is free, I highly recommend getting this first, as this game isn’t to everyone’s liking. The demo will last until you reach 10 acres, after this time, you will have to purchase the full HUD for 499L, if you wish to continue. The HUD is no transfer so  be sure that you want to play the game before you purchase it. There is a gift version, which you can purchase and send to someone, which becomes no transfer as soon as it is rezzed.

There is an add-on available for an extra $399, which you would need to purchase if you wanted to become king/queen.  This add-on HUD called the "federation HUD", gives you more challenges. This add on is not for you if you like to go afk a lot though, you need to keep an eye on the "
fed HUD" all the time. The normal HUD you can go afk with.  It turns off after 90 mins, which is three years in Tiny Empires time.

I personally think everyone should at least try the demo; it’s well worth it if you like a challenge and have the spare time to play it. If you want to give it a try, feel free to IM me and I can set you up with a liege.

WARNING!!  THIS GAME IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE; EXPECT TO MAKE LOTS OF ROOM ON YOUR FRIENDS LIST FOR NEW FRIENDS AND LOTS OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS WAITING UP FOR TRADER.

Conclusion:  One of SL's most popular games!
