Review: Those who know me know I struggle to make
ends meet in SL and am constantly on the lookout for fab fashion for little cash and boy did I find it at Rebel Hope! I came here attracted by a
notice that they were having a sale on their costumes but then *light bulbs flash* I saw a teleporter to their "$50L Area" and clicked faster
than you can say "show me not very much money! Now Rebel Hope is a very large place that has all sorts of bridal/tuxedo/gown/dresses
fashion - well worth the time to wander - but I will focus on the $50 casual wear in this review because IMHO each area deserves its own
review.
Now when you tp to this section of the shop, you notice the nice, clean shop lines, complete with marble floor textures and
beautiful dark wood columns. The lovely lighting and a few plants make for ambiance but still allow a nice open floor making it easy to
move about. There's a cute little his-n-hers seating area but I was there to shop so left no bum impression on the bean bags.
The clothes are mainly what I would call "club wear" with a range of bustiers and cute short prim skirts outfits, including some
with a rather goth feel, but there are also some casual tops and pants as well. There were some really sweet dresses as well that come with
both mini and baby doll options. Now what I love is - no boxes! Love being able to purchase and wear on the spot - it's the immediate
gratification gene in me. As far as the owners...well...I never saw anyone and wasn't greeted but maybe they were busy at the costume sale.
And the $50 area has signs all around warning that all sales are final/no refunds/no transfer.
Happy budget shopping!
Conclusion: Nice clothes for a nice price
