Review: (Make A Wish…come true!) Are you a kid in Second Life and need the love of a family? Are you an adult and want family to grow? Adopt a kid avatar! Be adopted by a cute family!

If you ever decide to adopt or you have a kid avatar and want a family, MAW is your place. They have a wall full of panels for kids to be adopted and another one for parents who are wishing to adopt. Kids pay L$1 for two weeks for a panel, then if they haven’t been adopted, they can pay again till they are or just leave. Parents pay L$200 for a month, but they can pay more if they want. So… how does it work? Once a kid or a parent has paid and has his/her own panel, they have to tell one of the Counselors from MAW and they are added in a group (there are 2 groups, one for kids and another for adults). All panels are anonymous, name is optional, but last names are forbidden on the info cards. If a kid is liked by a parent and that kid likes them, then there’s a match and they go on a trial. Then if they like each other, the kid is adopted, and if not, they continue waiting to adopt and be adopted.

But that’s not all about MAW, ‘cause there are some dance pads where kids can camp and get some pocket money while waiting for adoption, and they can always come back to camp anyway. MAW is a safe zone for kids, they have their own park, some bedrooms for kids who are waiting to be adopted, a cinema with kids films and a lot of space where they can play. All for kids!

The owner and workers there are really nice and are glad to help everybody, they sort problems quickly too. Oh, and when you are adopted or have adopted somebody, adult is given a certificate with the name of the kid and the adopter name, so it’s more official.

Lag is bad, but could be really worse, because there are always people hanging out at MAW.

Conclusion: I really recommend this "place", it’s a great and happy site. If you are thinking about adoption, this is your place!! You know… Make A Wish come true!
