Review:  Do you like mythical creatures?  Do you like avatars in general?  Prim made wacky avs?  Want to be a Lion?  Want a giant Jello avatar?  Then you have to go to Grendel's Children and maybe pick up a head crab, a dragon avatar, a few dozen free avatars or an amazing amount of cheap avs for the cost of one avatar at many places.  0L-800L seems to be the range, many below 100L.

They sell mostly mythical creatures but have a selection of 'Tech' stuff and other items like art, skyboxes, buildings etc.  Mostly monsters, insects, mammals and birds though there are a lot of humanoid avatars there too.  Just no classic things like elves or mermaids, mostly beast/anthro mythical related.

Below the store is a great landscape sim for RP with Avaria Role players down there.  Avaria is a Role play area they have special avatars for.  They are always adding new avatars every few months so it is a place to visit a few times a year (at least!) as new items are added. You may have missed something as it takes a while for things to rez and there is a lot of stuff there.

Which brings me to the down side, the lag.  This place is very laggy and when you Teleport in at first you may not see much at all as it takes time for all the build to load.  So using low lag tactics like lowering the object resolution in the preferences menu etc. will help.

Edit menu, then preferences and then click the graphics tabs and custom for the newer SL browser plus switching of shiny, and interior lights will help you out a bit.  So maybe do this while IMing or bring friends to chat with you while you all slowly walk the place lagging most of the way but having fun anyway.  Strangely the sim's ground level area far below was much lower lag so this could very well be a graphics card issue but the place is primmed out to the max so I imagine many will have the same issues I did with loading and displaying all the prims and beautiful custom textures.  Right click and edit the signs helps it load the texture to tell what area you are in.

Conclusion:  Unusual avatars. Lag galore.
