Review: This is the place that Welfare Island displaced in the top place of the SL search
results. It’s a very similar kind of place to Welfare Island except there are actually freebies here. I didn’t think there were at first. The
notecard for the store, which sounded somewhat bitter and more than a little strange, claimed that "EVERYTHING IS FREE" and then seconds later I
walked into the nearest building and found hair for 150L. I was about to give up on it as a sham when I noticed a bunch of stuff out in an open
square between the buildings and realized these were the freebies. So the notecard is either out of date or a lie. The buildings around the
square have full price items for sale, probably some kind of sponsor system, and the square has the freebies. The freebies offered though are
just the usual line-up of the same old stuff that every other freebie place has.
There are a bunch of ATMs and supposedly money trees. I never saw a real money tree though. There were trees
with money falling from the branches but they were just more web terminals like the ATMs bringing you to a survey page. There was one
sentence in that welcome notecard, about the surveys, that was just so funny I had to share it: "I would make an Alt Email account due to
the fact that Advertisers will send you emails and you will think of them as Spam but there not spam!" LOL.
Ok…when you stop laughing…
Conclusion: If you want to find the typical freebies that are offered everywhere, this is a
good collection of them. If you are going to give up looking for freebies and want some full priced items you won’t have to leave the sim to find
them. If you are looking for ATMs or ad boards this is a good spot.
